Captain Cobb
The educated, somewhat elegant leader of the crew. Cobb is a treasure hunter; he sails in search of legendary stores of gold and jewels, not simple merchant ships.
Scab
The rough, brutal, stinking first mate. Too impatient for Cobb's treasure hunts, he wants to raid and rampage every ship he sees.
Moravius
Cobb's loyal friend and bodyguard; a giant who frightens enemy ships into submission just by looking at them.
Daniel
A boy who was born at sea, and has never left a boat for long. He is Fish's best friend.
Nora
The only girl on board; she runs the galley, and brings her many knives with her wherever she goes.
Nate
Another friend of Fish, and Daniel and Nora too, Nate hopes to be a great captain one day. He is torn between Cobb and Scab in his quest to impress.
Sammy the Stomach
The main gunner, whose skill with cannons is matched only by his expertise with cheese.
Noah
The ship's carpenter and singer.
Thimble
An angry sailor with a weakness for wine. He is a master with a needle and thread, and can patch up a shirt, or a man's wound, in minutes.
These are just a few of the pirates; the ship is stocked with countless more.
